Private Pilot's Licence

Obtaining your Private Pilot’s License is a fun, challenging and rewarding endeavor. However, one of the greatest challenges faced by many students is scheduling. SATC prides itself on working with each student individually to help them meet their flying goals while creating a training schedule that is flexible enough to work around job, family and other commitments.

Transport Canada requires a minimum of forty five hours of flight training and forty hours of Ground School. A full time student with a very rigorous flight training schedule can complete their flight training in as little as two months, and for as little as $8170. However, on average most students take approximately six to twelve months and costs $12,000 to $15,000. The costs listed below are the minimums, and do not include GST.
