Completing your Mountain Check will allow you to pilot any Canadian registered aircraft in a mountainous area under VFR conditions. If you would love to fly through the scenic Rocky Mountains you can obtain this license in as little as one weekend. Minimum cost will be approximately $810 plus GST. Transport Canada requires that this training include at least three flight hours of dual instruction and recommends at least three hours of Ground Instruction. Some students may require additional flight hours.

• 3 Hours of Dual Flight Trainingat $150/hour for the aircraft and $60/hour for the instructor - $630
• 3 Hours of Ground Instruction - $180
